Well-known composer and film director Tony Britten approached Studio Wizard with an exciting concept. He wanted us to convert the remaining part of an old brick and flint barn into a Cinema that was also a bright and open performance venue and on top of that, it was to be used as his 5.1 mix room for his own film projects. Overcoming the ventilation needs of 50 people in a space that must also be low enough background noise to be recording and mixing-friendly was a challenge, but we like challenges! The first use of the Cinema was for a pre-release preview of Tony’s latest film ‘Chick Lit’ one of the last projects featuring John Hurt before his untimely death.
